9.gaining(advancing) issues (n) 上漲股票(=gainers);losing issues 下跌股票
Gaining issues outnumbered losing ones by a 5-to-4 margin in late trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
 在紐約證券交易所稍晚的交易中,上漲股票的數量僅以5比4之差領先下跌股票。
10.firm (adj) (市場、股票)穩固的
Purchasing data kept the treasury bond market firm, which gave a lift to stock.
